Lobbying Efforts

A list of organizations we’ve worked with to promote transit.

To help promote transit and its benefits, and to boost our efforts to expand service throughout the region, we often work with organizations that lobby on behalf of public transportation. Lobbying helps bring important issues to the policy makers who can help the communities we serve get the transit they deserve.

In the spirit of transparency, we think it’s important to disclose the lobbying groups to which we’ve paid membership dues:

  • American Public Transportation Association
  • New Starts Working Group
  • Oregon Transit Association
  • Oregon Rail Users League
  • Summit Strategies
