Effective Jan. 19, 2026 On Monday, January 19, buses and MAX will operate on Sunday schedules in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. If your bus line does not run on Sundays, it will not be in service. WES Commuter Rail and Portland Aerial Tram will not be in service.   • The trip to/from downtown Portland takes about 40 minutes and costs $2.80 for Adults 18–64, $1.40 for Honored Citizens and $1.40 for Youth.
  • The first train of the day to Portland International Airport arrives at 4:43 a.m. on weekdays and at 4:46 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
  • The last train to Hillsboro Airport/Fairgrounds departs PDX 10:57 p.m. on weekdays and 11:27 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
  • The last train to Willow Creek Transit Center departs PDX at 12:27 a.m. on weekdays and 12:27 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
  • The MAX station and ticket machines are located near baggage claim on the lower level. View airport map (flypdx.com)
  • Parking at TriMet Park & Ride lots is limited to 24 hours. For longer trips, have someone drop you off at a MAX station. Park & Ride locations
  • You can easily roll your luggage on board.
