Every year, TriMet updates this five-year plan to keep us focused on connecting people with valued mobility options that are safe, convenient, reliable, accessible, and welcoming for all.
This year, we have updated the Business Plan to reflect Vision 2030 (details in the Plan). The new Business Plan that will start July 1, 2024 is now available.
TriMet’s Business Plan is a strategic plan for meeting the expectations of our riders and our community. It helps us:
- better define our goals
- identify whether we are making progress with measures and targets
- define our strategic efforts with key strategic actions

Note: The Business Plan for FY2021 was finalized in March, just as the impacts from COVID-19 were really starting to be felt. Now, the Key Strategic Actions have been updated to reflect our new budget outlook as well as a new Key Strategic Action, while still focusing on longer-term, strategic needs.
